Speech Therapy Services in Arizona & Wisconsin
Evidence-based online speech therapy for every age — from first words to confident conversations. Licensed statewide in Arizona and Wisconsin, with specialties in articulation, myofunctional therapy, language development, fluency, and tongue tie evaluation.
Speech & Articulation Disorders
Articulation and speech sound disorders affect how a person produces sounds. A child might substitute, omit, or distort certain speech sounds, making them difficult to understand. We use targeted, evidence-based techniques to help clients of all ages speak clearly and confidently.
- Sound substitutions (e.g., saying "wabbit" instead of "rabbit")
- Phonological process disorders
- Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS)
- Lisps and other sound distortions
- Intelligibility improvement for all ages
Language Disorders
Language disorders involve difficulty understanding others (receptive language) or sharing thoughts, ideas, and feelings (expressive language). We help build vocabulary, sentence structure, comprehension, and social communication skills from early intervention through adulthood.
- Late talkers and speech delays
- Receptive language difficulties
- Expressive language challenges
- Vocabulary and sentence building
- Following directions and comprehension
- Social/pragmatic language skills
Myofunctional Therapy
Orofacial myofunctional therapy addresses the muscles and functions of the face and mouth. Incorrect oral muscle patterns can affect breathing, swallowing, speech, feeding mechanics, dental alignment, and facial development. We retrain these patterns through targeted exercises for lasting improvement — including oral motor–based feeding work for children whose feeding challenges stem from muscle coordination, weakness, or atypical patterns rather than sensory aversion.
- Tongue thrust and incorrect swallowing patterns
- Mouth breathing and lip posture
- Tongue resting posture correction
- Oral motor–based feeding therapy (lip closure, tongue lateralization, chewing coordination, jaw stability)
- Pre- and post-frenectomy therapy
- TMJ-related muscle dysfunction
- Orthodontic support and collaboration
Fluency & Stuttering Therapy
Stuttering and other fluency disorders can significantly impact confidence and social participation. We use proven, compassionate approaches to help children and adults manage their fluency, reduce tension and avoidance behaviors, and communicate with greater ease and confidence.
- Childhood stuttering (developmental)
- Persistent stuttering in older children and adults
- Cluttering
- Fluency shaping strategies
- Stuttering modification techniques
- Confidence building and communication comfort
Sleep & Breathing Issues
Snoring, mouth breathing, and poor sleep quality can sometimes be traced back to weak oral muscle tone or myofunctional dysfunction. As a speech therapist specializing in orofacial myology, we address the root physiological causes that interfere with restful sleep and nasal breathing.
- Snoring due to weak oral muscle tone
- Chronic mouth breathing
- Sleep-disordered breathing support
- Nasal breathing retraining
- Lip seal and tongue posture exercises
- Collaboration with sleep specialists and ENTs
